Thanks to a Coach

On Thursday, October 4, a cross country meet was held between Grover and Community Middle School. Our daughter, Danielle, was injured during this meet when she was forced into a metal baseball bench. ##M:[more]##My husband and I were away in California at the time, and unfortunately could not be there. Apparently, it was serious enough that the coach advised my mom (Danielle’s grandmother) to immediately take her to the ER. They felt that her finger and leg/knee were broken. After several x-rays, it was determined that nothing was broken, but that she had contusions.

I am writing to express my sincerest thanks and appreciation to the girls on the cross country team who helped my daughter, to the parents who were there, and to Coach Maloney for carrying her into the car, and to the mom who drove to the hospital with my mom following behind her. There are no words to express our gratitude.

I would also like to ask any parents who were there and filming the meet, if you have any video of the incident, if you could kindly contact me at E-mail: FishNLI@aol.com or call 609-275-4963. Thank you.
