Terhune Orchards to hold annual Kite Day

Kite Day

Terhune Orchards is set to holds its annual Kite Day weekend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 3 and 4.

Attendees can buy a kite at the farm or bring their own.

There will also be other activities for children including old-fashioned children’s games, visiting the farm’s animals, and tractor-drawn wagon rides. Food and wine will also be available.

At 2 p.m. on May 4, Joel Markevey will shear off the sheep’s winter coats and visitors can take home a souvenir piece of wool.

Admission is $5.
