Ten Candidates For Board Seat
Ten candidates have filed applications to fill the open West Windsor seat on the WW-P school board by the deadline on September 11.##M:[more]##
The candidates who filed include former school board candidate Brett Boal, of Park Hill Terrace; Michael Donnelly, of Benford Drive; Jay Bryant, of Steele Drive; Dondapati Chowdary, of Priory Road; John Farrell, of Millbrook Drive; Beth Anne Hahn, of Saratoga Drive; Joseph Jensen, Glengarry Way; Andrew Lipka, of Partridge Run; Yue Ma, of Tiffany Court; William Ku, of North Longfellow Drive.
The spot was vacated by Stan Katz, who resigned on August 7 and moved to Colorado. The board has 65 days from the time of his resignation to appoint a new board member, who will serve until the reorganization meeting following the April, 2009, school election.
The board will interview the candidates during a special meeting on Tuesday, September 16, and make an appointment during its regular meeting on Tuesday, September 23.
