Keertana Anandraj, a junior at High School South, received a North Jersey American Revolution Round Table award for her National History Day research project. She presented an overview of her National History Day paper on Shay’s Rebellion, titled “Protecting the Liberty Tree: Shays’ Rebellion Incites Reaction and Spurs Constitutional Reform.”

More than 1,000 students in grades 6 to 12 in New Jersey participate in three regional National History Day contests, with the qualifiers then competing at the state competition at William Paterson University.
