To encourage inter-cultural friendships, First Presbyterian Church of Plainsboro is focusing on Christianity and Hinduism in India. Kima Pachuau, Christopher Newton, Benjamin and Vijitha Selvaraj, and J.M. Raja Jeyakumar are presenting congregation members with information about South Asia this month.##M:[more]##

Shanthi Jeyarani, Vijitha Selvaraj, and Shakila Jeyakumar are introducing the children to customs, stories, foods, and songs of India to the children in the congregation.

Youth groups are viewing movies about India and Bangladesh and a field trip to the Chinmaya Mission is planned. The book club is focusing on “The Universe in a Single Atom: The Convergence of Science and Spirituality” by the Dalai Lama. Members will meet on Sunday, January 22.
