Richard Pfaltzgraff of Plainsboro has been awarded the Silver Beaver by the Bucks Council of the Boy Scouts of America for distinguished service to scouting. Chairman of the Mercer Area District of the Boy Scouts, he is an assistant scoutmaster of Troop 40 in West Windsor. He has also been committee chairman and assistant cubmaster for Pack 759 in Plainsboro, as well as Cub Scout program chairman for the district.

Pfaltzgraff has run the Fall Emergency Preparedness Cub-a-rama since 2010 and has been active in Cub Scout Day Camp. He also organized and helped run the Webelos Scout BB Gun Shooting and the Slingshot Paintball activities at the district’s Frontier Adventure at Yards Creek Scout Reservation.

Raised in Sea Isle City, he earned his Eagle Scout award. He is the CFO for a national finance company. Married with four kids, he has also coached soccer and hockey.
