Chapin School: Rachel Libfraind, an eighth grade student from West Windsor, was recognized by the New Jersey chapter of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese for her performance in the advanced outside experience category. Grant Oen, a seventh grade student for West Windsor, was second in the state.##M:[more]##

Mercer County Educators Association: Tiffany Jin, a June graduate of High School North, received a scholarship.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute: David Lai Ku, a rising senior at High School South, received the Rensselaer Medal, an award presented to the high school’s most promising science and mathematics student. Each medalist, who is accepted and enrolls at RPI, receives a $60,”000 scholarship payable in four yearly awards of $15,”000 each year.

New Jersey Commission of Education: Sofia Izmailov, a June graduate from High School South, received a Robert C. Byrd scholarship of $1,”500.
