Laura A. Schaff, an attorney at Hill Wallack LLP in West Windsor, recently spearheaded a drive to raise funds and resources for SAVE, an organization dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area. She reached out to area businesses and to the attorneys and staff of Hill Wallack.

Generous donations of dog and cat food, treats, bowls, crates, carriers, blankets, and a large cat condo were collected in bins at participating locations during August. An additional $500 was raised.

“The feedback from the community has been wonderful,” said Schaff. “These adorable dogs and cats are grateful to all who have donated and they now have the opportunity to become a valued member of someone’s family.”

SAVE operates as a limited admission shelter with contracts to serve Princeton and Lawrence animal control centers. The shelter facility helps an average of 400 animals a year. Visit www.save-animals.org or call 609-921-6122.
