Seniors Helping And Reinforcing Education, a pilot program at Village School, will bring active township seniors into the schools for the rest of the current school year for a multi-generational experience for adults and students in grades 4 and 5.##M:[more]##

The seniors will be paired with individual students and small groups of students for the following efforts: Reading and Math Buddies, History Day Talks, Science Experiments, Tuning Instruments, Sharing Hobbies, Helping ESL students, and Computer Skill Sharing.

Individuals coordinating the project, from left to right in the photo above, include Brian Stevens, principal of Village School; Shari Goldberg, assistant principal of Village School; Lynn Thornton, executive director of the West Windsor Township Senior Center, and Gerry Schaller, a volunteer at the Senior Center.
