The exit ramp to Route 29 from Route 1 northbound on the New Jersey side of the Trenton-Morrisville Toll Bridge will be closed overnight Tuesday, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The exit ramp will be shut down as a result of a right lane closure along Route 1 northbound from 10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, to 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17.

The scheduled travel restrictions will allow a commission contractor to install new security cameras and wireless radio transmitters. The closure period also will be utilized by commission maintenance crews to conduct drainage-system cleaning/repair work.

There will not be any designated detour routes during this brief closure period; motorists are advised to plan alternate routes.
