Robbinsville’s National Night Out set for Aug. 6

Try your arm at sending Mayor David Fried plunging into the dunk tank at National Night Out.

Robbinsville’s sixth annual night out is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. on Aug. 6. behind the police station, 1117 Route 130.

The crime an drug prevention event is designed to to bring police officers and the community together.

National Night Out includes free hot dogs, corn on the cob, watermelon and popcorn.

The event also featured a waterslide, obstacle course, tiger bounce, pony rides, a petting zoo and games for kids.

Civic organizations and a local dance group are set to perform.

Along with Mayor Fried, Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo, Juvenile Detective/SRO Peter Galazka and newly retired police sergeant, Vincent Estelle, are set sit in the dunk tank.
