Dan Cohen of Plainsboro holds up a quilt made of soccer and Little League shirts — most of them bearing the number 13, his favorite number — that his neighbor, Pat Riley, utilized in creating a personal memory quilt. Cohen’s mother, Leslie, was reluctant to throw the shirts away, and Riley offered to make a quilt from them.
