Princeton Theological Seminary set to present Easter Octave service April 7

Princeton Theological Seminary is set to host an Easter Octave choral service on April 7.

This worship service is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Miller Chapel, 64 Mercer Street, Princeton.

The service includes psalms, the Song of Solomon, the epistles, gospels, anthems, and congregational singing. Princeton Seminary choirs and a brass quartet is set to perform.

Easter Octave Choral service also features an original composition by choral assistant Michael Gittens.

The Octave of Easter signifies the eighth day of Easter, the culmination of the High Holy Days.

This event if free and open to the public.

Princeton Theological Seminary, founded in 1812, is the first seminary established by the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church. It is the largest Presbyterian Seminary in the country, with more than 500 students in six graduate degree programs.
