Princeton Public Library announced that its Inside a Child’s Mind speaker series is set to continue with two talks.

On March 20 at 7 p.m., Early childhood education expert Tovah Klein will give a talk titled “How Toddlers Thrive: What Parents Can Do to Plant the Seeds of Lifelong Success.”

Klein will draw on her research and firsthand work with thousands of toddlers to explain the skills that two to five year olds should learn before they get to school.

On April 1 at 7 p.m., author and cognitive psychologist Scott Barry Kaufman will give a talk titled “Debunking Traditional Methods of Measuring Intelligence.”

As a child, Kaufman was placed in special education classrooms because he was left nearly deaf by early childhood ear infections and therefore needed a few extra seconds to process things in real time. He has therefore made it his mission to debunk traditional methods of measuring intelligence.

Kaufman will discuss the development of intelligence and creativity.

Both talks will be held in Princeton Public Library’s Community Room.

The library is located at 65 Witherspoon Street in Princeton.
