Sports photographer Dick Druckman will discuss the lessons he has learned over 40 years of taking pictures at the next Princeton Photography Club meeting.

The meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. May 8 at D&R Greenway’s Johnson Education Center, 1 Preservation Place, Princeton.

A former vice president at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Druckman realized on a family vacation to the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles he had the talent to become a professional. When he retired, he opened Gold Medal Impressions, a sports gallery, in Princeton Junction. His work has been published in Sports Illustrated, Parade, Squash and newspapers across the county. Throughout the year, the Princeton Photography Club presents a variety of guest speakers and numerous workshops dealing with all aspects of photography as an art form. The club meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, September through June. Doors open at 7 p.m. For more information call Carl Geisler at (732) 422-3676.
