Cassie Wang and Jessie Liang, both of West Windsor, were honored May 23 in Trenton at the 2013 Conservation Education awards ceremony in conjunction with the Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation Committee’s Conservation Poster contest. The theme of this year’s contest was “Where Does Your Water Shed?”

Wang, who received first place in the grades 2 to 3 category, was awarded a certificate and a $200 prize. Her poster will be entered in the National Association of Conservation Districts Conservation Poster Contest. The national winners will be announced at the NACD annual meeting being held in Anaheim, California, in February. Liang’s poster came in second place in the grades 4 to 6 category.
