The Minuetto Music Festival, founded in the summer of 2012, exists to offer a rich and diverse program to musicians of the highest standard.

From seasoned professionals to new and emerging artists, the festival provides them with the opportunity to collaborate and develop their skills together in a constructive and educationally focused environment.

Kosar was set to be honored and also perform at the Minuetto Music Festival Young Artist Showcase Gala on June 28 at the Grand Summit Hotel in Summit.

She will also perform the role of Adele in a concert version of Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, on Saturday, June 30, at Central Presbyterian Church in Summit.

Kosar, a soprano, is enjoying the beginning of a career as a performer, both on the concert and operatic stage, and a private music teacher.

So far in 2018, she has performed in productions of Le Nozze di Figaro (Susanna), Die Zauberflöte (Pamina), and in a preview performance of Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel (Gretel) for Opera Theatre Montclair.

The full production of Hansel and Gretel will be performed with orchestra on Sept. 22, 23, 29 and 30. Kosar will perform in the title role and as a soloist in the Mozart Requiem.

Kosar has sung professionally with the Mastersingers of Wilmington, Opera Delaware, Opera Theatre of Montclair and the Princeton Festival.

She has completed her training at the University of Delaware and Westminster Choir College, where she sang in productions of La Bohème (Musetta), Little Women (Amy), Il Trionfo del Tempo (Il Piacere), and L’enfant et les Sortilèges (Le Feu).
