Plainsboro Rescue Squad Installation Dinner

Plainsboro Rescue Squad’s annual installation dinner was held February 12 at Mercer Oaks in West Windsor. The installation dinner committee included Emvily Wolf, Brian Gould, Ganesh Shenoy, Akarsh Teki, Lucy Zhu, Leah Wasserman, Akshitha Dondapati, Apryl Roach, and the Cadet Corp.

Officers include Emily Wolf, president; Ganesh Shenay, first vice president; Akarsh Teki, second vice president; Yulija Bombina, corresponding secretary; Kevin May, recording secretary; and Suhas Kamble, treasurer.

Trustees include Apryl Roach, Frank Burkhart, Tony Lieber, Don Vadakan, and Dan Titen. Line officers include Brian Gould, chief; Dimitry Pokrasov, deputy chief; and Jaydeep Paul, assistant chief. Cadet Corp include Jason Zhu, president; Sanat Vundyala, vice president; Varna Kodoth and Anoushka Karmad, secretary; and Sanil Vundyala, captain.

Ankit Parikh, Jaydeep Paul, Jamie Shah, Viju Ramesh, and Austin Fountain were recognized for five years of service. John Wiegartner was honored for 25 years.

The rescue squad responded to 806 calls and transported 569 patients. The average age of patients was 56 and most were transported to University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.

Volunteers put in 22,372 hours. Top responders with more than 100 calls include Dan Titan with 187 calls, Brian Gould, 156; Karin Stewart, 116; and Vikram Kumar, 115.
