The Plainsboro Business Partnership is holding off on joining the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce.

According to Paul O’Brien, the founder of the business networking group aimed at promoting patronage to area establishments, the PBP has decided to remain independent for the time being, as many of the group’s members have “expressed high levels of satisfaction with the PBP ‘as is.’”

In an E-mail he wrote to both the Chamber and to the group’s members, O’Brien said that he would be conducting research of similar groups’ successes and failures, and making a recommendation about whether to join the Chamber in four to six months.

The group’s next meeting will be on Tuesday, April 27, at 8 a.m. at Planet Apothecary. Jeanette Wolfe, owner of Planet Apothecary, will be making a presentation.
