Plainsboro Artists Work Together

Savanna Jackson, a Plainsboro resident and the producer of Vox Artis, recently interviewed another township resident, author Brandi Scollins-Mantha, about the recent release of her novel, “Floaters.”##M:[more]##

The documentary covering Scollins-Mantha writing career and publications will air on Princeton Community Television, Channel 30 for Patriot Cable and Channel 3 on Fridays at 10:30 a.m., Sundays at 9 p.m., and Mondays at 11 p.m. through June and on Comcast Television for Plainsboro’s Channel 3. The interview is also available for download on www.voxartis.tv.

Scollins-Mantha was born in New Brunswick and raised in Little Rocky Hill from third grade on. She graduated from University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in English, and received an MFA in creative writing from Sarah Law-rence College. She is pursuing a master of education

through Pennsylvania State University.

A Plainsboro resident since 1996, her husband, Mahesh Mantha, is a computer systems engineer. Their daughter, Megan Atwood Mantha, 6, is homeschooled. They are part of the Westerly Learning Center at the Westerly Road Church in Princeton.

Scollins-Mantha teaches writing online for Thomas Edison State College, Mercer County College, and Southern New Hampshire University. She is also the author of “My Intended,” published by Morrow/HarperCollins. Her new novel about a woman working in a shopping mall has been published by Blast Press. www.brandi.scollins@comcast.net.
