Alina Bliach of West Windsor has an exhibition of her photographs at the Broadway and LRC Galleries at Passaic Community College through May 26. The opening reception for “Mar Y Tierra” was held on March 15. Bliach, who trained as a pharmacist at Long Island University, studied photography at Mercer County College. Bliach was born in Havana, Cuba.

She has had previous shows at the Arts Council of Princeton, Grounds for Sculpture, Perkins Center for the Arts, and Gallery 125.##M:[more]##

“I feel that I have a duty and a responsibility to reveal to others that which most individuals neglect to see,” says Bliach. “It is through my landscapes that I hope to convey a certain hopefulness about the future. Let these photographs serve as an inspiration in reminding us to conserve our nature world for our children and our children’s children.”
