Front Rush Internship For Twamley

Dave Twamley, a graduate of High School South, Class of 2009, is an intern with Front Rush, a software company for college athletic departments. A student at Wharton School at UPenn, he is working on building a new business for Front Rush. He and another intern are choosing the company name, the marketing strategy, the cost structure, the sales strategy, and the brand.

“The hands-on experience of building a company is far more valuable than the knowledge that can be grasped through a text book,” says Sean Devlin, the 29 year-old co-founder and director of product development at Front Rush. “Building a start-up will require them to learn how to think on their feet and make very difficult decisions as opposed to seeing how other people have done it. Ideally, they will go on become great entrepreneurs.”
