The students and staff at Millstone River School care about promoting peace, and they are doing something about it. For Peaceful School Day the school conducted an essay contest encompassing the theme of peace. The essay winners read their essay to the entire student body. Millstone River School is proud to promote a safe and caring environment and be ambassadors spreading the word of peace.
Essay contest winners include fourth grade students Claire Qiu, Sharon Zhang, Katherine Li, and Shaun Robinson. Fifth grade students include Alan Xu, Eric Mischell, Sara Duane, and Dhruva Byrapatna.
