Passage Theatre Company opens season with ‘Paradise’

Passage Theatre Company has opened its new season with a new play, Paradise.

Written by Brooklyn-based playwright Laura Maria Censabella, the drama involves a gifted Muslim-American high school student, a disillusioned biology teacher and an unlikely research project that changes their lives.

A co-production with Luna Stage in Montclair, it is on stage at the Mill Hill Playhouse in Trenton through Oct. 22.

According to the theater’s mission statement, Passage Theatre Company is committed to the creation and production of socially relevant new plays and community devised arts programming that transforms the lives of individuals and community.
