Alex Kontorovich, West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, Class of 1998, is producing a memorial concert for German Goldenshteyn, a world-famous Klezmer musician who died earlier this summer. The musicians will perform German’s 1,000-tune repertoire on Sunday, September 17, at SouthPaw, 125 Fifth Avenue, Brooklyn. The doors open at 7 p.m. for the concert and dance party. Tickets are $30 at the door.

Kontorovich, a founding member of Klez Dispensers, is a graduate student in mathematics at Columbia University. He recently returned from traveling, performing, and teaching all over the world. His family lives in Plainsboro. Visit www.alexkontorovish.com for more information.
