The North softball team ended its season with a bang. Behind Sarah Bush’s grand slam, North took out crosstown rival South, 6-0, on May 31, on the way to clinching the Colonial Valley Conference’s Colonial Division title.
Bush ultimately drove in five of the team’s six runs. Sydney Turchin added a single and a double, while Emily Weinberg had two hits.
The win makes up for the 2-1 upset loss to Howell in the first round of the Central Jersey Group IV softball tournament last month.
