Don Benjamin

The Princeton Senior Resource Center recently announced that Don Benjamin has joined its Board of Trustees.

PSRC is a non-profit that empowers adults 55 and older in the Princeton community to make informed choices and live healthy lives.

Benjamin retired in 2013 after working for nine years for the Florida Electric Power Coordinating Group in Tampa and 25 years for the North American Reliability Council in Princeton.

He first learned about PSRC from his son who had volunteered in the computer lab as a student at Princeton University.

Benjamin has had previous experience working closely with the nonprofit sector. In 2007 he helped form the North American Transmission Forum, a nonprofit organization of electricity transmission line owners.

Additionally, he is a member of Princeton Toastmasters and a municipal court moderator. He graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in computer science and an ME in electric power systems.
