The WW-P school district has appointed two new head coaches: one at South and one at North.

Michael Santoro, a health and physical education teacher at North, has been named the new varsity baseball coach at North. He replaces Bob Boyce, who stepped down after a 10-year tenure.

Santoro, who has been the junior varsity coach for the past four years, has experience playing baseball at the high school and collegiate levels and has experience coaching for the American Legion.

At South, Tom Lecorchick has been appointed as the new girls’ varsity basketball coach, replacing Lisa Guaneri, who stepped down after her five-year tenure.

Lecorchick has spent the past two years as varsity assistant at Old Bridge High School and has eight years of experience coaching interscholastic girls’ basketball. Lecorchick is an eighth-grade history teacher in Spotswood.
