The township of West Windsor sent out letters to area newspapers regarding an unauthorized survey being conducted within the township by telephone. According to the letter, “Questions tht have been asked in the surveys range from issues such as the West Windsor Arts Council, the proposed Transit Village, opinions about candidates in upcoming elections, etc.”

Both Will Anklowitz and Barbara Pfeifer, candidates for a council seat, claimed no responsibility for the survey. The letter says the survey is being conducted “without the knowledge or support of West Windsor Township.” Residents with questions can contact the Administration Department, at (609) 799-2400.

The letter was sent signed by Christopher Marion, although Mr. Marion is on vacation this week. Calls to the Administration Department were directed to Robert Hary, who acts as Business Administrator in Marion’s absence. Both Hary and Mayor Shing-Fu Hsueh say they know nothing more than what is stated in the letter.

Says Hsueh: “We sent the letter because we got calls from residents about the survey and we want people to know that this is not coming from the Township. I don’t know anything about it.”
