Paul Manulik, director of the Princeton String Academy in West Windsor, recently coached one of his students to an award-winning performance. Joseph Burke, 12, received honorable mention in the 2008 New Jersey Music Teachers’ Association’s Young Musicians’ Competition 11-14 Strings Division, for his performance of the Viola Concerto in D Major by Hoffmeister and the Suite I in G Major by Bach. Burke, who lives in South Brunswick, is a member of the Crossroads North Middle School Orchestra and the Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra.##M:[more]##
