Melvin L. Jones of West Windsor will retire from the U.S. Army Reserve in February. He is an industrial technology teacher for the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District and co-owner of Windboro Driving School. A lieutenant colonel, he will have served for 20 years. He is a member of the military operations staff at Fort Totten, New York.##M:[more]##

Vince Vella of West Windsor is stationed in Iraq with his Army National Guard Unit. His parents Kerry and Tony Vella coordinated with members of the West Windsor Volunteer Fire Company to send the unit cookies, socks, gloves, and DVDs. His mother is a member of the fire company’s ladies auxiliary and his father is president of the company. Vince, 23, graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School.
