Eva Meyer of Plainsboro received an honorable mention for a photograph titled “Laura” at the Gallery at Mercer College’s exhibit “Mercer County Photographers” during the opening reception on November 9. The exhibit, which runs through December 19, features 51 works by 38 photographers who live, work, or study in Mercer County. The pieces were selected from 184 entries by 68 photographers. A winter solstice concert will be performed on the show’s closing day at 6:30 p.m. The gallery is located in the Communications Building on Mercer’s West Windsor campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Tricia Fagan, the gallery’s curator and director, is a West Windsor resident. “One of the gallery’s primary missions is to support the vibrant Mercer County arts community,” she says. “Another is to encourage and inspire Mercer students.”

Gallery hours are Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.; and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. For more information call 609-570-3589 or E-mail gallery@mccc.edu.
