The Mercer County Senior Art Show is set to be on display July 24 through Aug. 8.

The show features original works of art created within the last three years by Mercer County residents age 60 or older.

The exhibition is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday at Springpoint Senior Living’s Meadow Lakes, 300 Etra Road, East Windsor.

In addition, a closing reception for artists, friends and family, and art admirers is scheduled for 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Aug. 9.

First place and honorable mention recognitions are set to be awarded in eleven categories; including, acrylic, craft, computer imagery, drawing, mixed media, oil, pastel, photography, print, sculpture and watercolor.

First place winners are automatically entered in the statewide competition, the New Jersey Senior Citizen Art Show, to be held at Meadow Lakes in October.
