Mayor Jackson appoints two new school board members

Mayor Eric E. Jackson recently appointed Heather Watson and Addie Daniels-Lane to the Trenton School Board.

Watson is a lifelong Trenton resident and serves as a government relations specialist at Horizon NJ Health. Her background also includes 20 years in various supervising capacities to ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines, training of new employees, and coordination of company-wide regulatory programs to maximize assistance to beneficiaries. She is a student at St. Peter’s University, where she is studying for her bachelor’s degree in professional studies and social sciences.

Daniels-Lane is a retired Trenton educator. From 2013 to 2015 she was principal of Trenton High School West, and from 2010 to 2013, she was principal at Grace A. Dunn Middle School, and in that same role at P.J. Hill Elementary School from 2003 to 2010. She has two master’s degrees from the College of New Jersey: one in education and the other in counseling and personnel services, and a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Seton Hall.
