Students from Grover Middle School brought home the first place trophy in the Regional MathCounts competition.

Students from Community Middle School placed second in the MathCounts competition. West Windsor and Plainsboro students received 11 of the top 15 spots in the competition.

Winners from Grover Middle School included Alexander Clifton, first place; Jeffrey Kuan, third place; Apoorva Shah, fourth place; Sally Jiao, sixth place; Bill Huang, 11th place; and Chaitanya Asawa, 15th place.

Winners from Community Middle School included Ernest Chiu, second place; Robin Li, eighth place; Daniel Liu, ninth place; Benjamin Zhang, 10th place; and Frederick Huang, 13th place.

Both the Grover team with Alexander Clifton, Jeffrey Kuan, Apoorva Shah, and Aayush Visaria; and the Community team with Ernest Chiu, Frederick Huang, Daniel Liu, and Benjamin Zhang, go on to compete at the state MathCounts. Alyce Doehner coaches both teams.
