Man killed, three injured in Trenton shooting

Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that left one man dead and three others injured Thursday night on the 100 block of Passaic Street, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.

Trenton police responded around 8:52 p.m. on June 26 to reports of a shooting in progress. Officers located four gunshot victims at the scene, including three adult males and a 16-year-old girl, officials said.

All four victims were transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where 24-year-old Karan Hunter was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

According to a preliminary investigation, the victims were standing outside when a vehicle pulled up, opened fire, and then fled the scene.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
