Lily Pepper of West Windsor coached the Beth El Synagogue girls soccer team to win a silver medal (second place) at the Maccabia games in Philadelphia last month. The team represented the Delaware Valley Region.
Beth El also recently held a Mitzvah day to assist area charities. Congregants participated in a variety of activities including preparing and packing dinner for families who reside at HomeFront, preparing goody bags for seniors, and cleaning up a Jewish cemetery in Trenton
