Leslie Burger of West Windsor was inaugurated president of the American Library Association at their June convention in New Orleans. A librarian for more than 30 years, she joined Princeton Public Library in 1999, and has been the director for more than five years. ##M:[more]##

Recognized at the YWCA Princeton Tribute to Women program in 2004 and a graduate of Southern Connecticut State College, she has a master’s degree in organizational behavior from the University of Hartford. She and her husband, Alan, have three children.
