Lewis School of Princeton’s “Big Event” raises $200,000

The Lewis School of Princeton held its 2015 “Big Event” Golf and Tennis Classic at the Cherry Valley Country Club in Skillman on September 29, 2015. The Lewis School of Princeton held its 2015 “Big Event” Golf and Tennis Classic at the Cherry Valley Country Club in Skillman on September 29, 2015. The event raised over $200,000 for the school in annual fund contributions.

The “Big Event’ program featured a day of tennis and golf, a day long boutique trunk show, lunch and pre dinner holiday food and mixology demonstrations by 2014 NJ Caterer of the Year Joss & Jules of Princeton, a farm to table luncheon and dinner featuring Terhune Orchards produce prepared by Cherry Valley Country Club’s award winning chef and a cocktail reception with scotch tasting and cigar rolling.

The Lewis School of Princeton presented Gary and Pam Mount, owners of Terhune Orchards, with the first annual “Marsha Gaynor Lewis Citizenship Award for Outstanding Public Service” in recognition of the Mounts’ life-long commitment to community, local farming, the environment and education.
