Several WW-P students have signed national letters of intent to play college sports next year. From South, cross country and track and field standout Christina Rancan will run for the University of Pennsylvania, as will track star Kathryn Schoenauer, whose older brother, Brian, plays football there. Runner Tim Bason, who recently placed 35th at the Nike Cross Nationals race in Oregon, will compete for North Carolina State.

Five lacrosse players from High School North also made their college plans. Victoria L’Insalata will play for the University of Maryland, Carli Harpel is following her older sister, Olivia, to Northwestern, and Morgan Hendry is headed to Johns Hopkins.

On the boys’ side, Yanni Stasinos will attend Limestone College in South Carolina and Kyle Siegler will play for LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York.
