Plainsboro Boy Scout Troop 759 recently completed a three-year project to restore the chapel at the Yard’s Creek Scout Reservation in Blairstown. The restoration work was in memory of Kevin Paulson, a 1994 Eagle Scout from the troop who died in August, 2003.##M:[more]##

The project included the construction and installation of eight benches, the installation of a stone lectern, the repair of the stonework on the walls of the chapel, and the repair and painting of the roof structure. The overgrown brush was also cleared from around the chapel, enabling a visitor sitting on the new benches to have a clear view of the lake beyond. A plaque dedicating the restoration work to the memory of Paulson was installed as a remembrance.
