Kniewel was elected to the National Suburban School Superintendents Association, which has a limited membership of 100 superintendents from pre-eminent suburban school districts around the nation, stated a press release from the school district this month.

School board president Hemant Marathe released a statement congratulating Kniewel on her appointment. “It is important to share information with other high-achieving districts around the country and to learn from these school districts,” said Marathe. He also said that Kniewel will continue to be “instrumental in bringing best practices to WW-P.”
