Junior League of Greater Princeton is teaming up with Macy’s to give customers are reason to shop.

The ninth annual national Shop for A Cause charity shopping event is scheduled for Aug. 23. JLGP is one of this year’s beneficiaries.

Shop For A Cause is a unique one-day-only shopping event created to support local charities’ fundraising efforts, and has helped raise more than $44 million for charities across the country since 2006.

Customers can participate in this year’s event by purchasing a shopping pass. Macy’s has provided JLGP with shopping passes to sell for $5 each; the group keeps 100 percent of every shopping pass it sells.

By purchasing a shopping pass from JLGP, customers support the Junior League’s vision to empower women and children, in direct response to immediate community needs as identified by our colleagues and partners working directly with New Jersey’s neediest.

Pass holders are set to receive special discounts on most regular, sale and clearance purchases all day.
