Construction crews entered the second week of construction at the future Jewish Community Campus (JCC) on Clarksville Road on March 28.

Crews began installing fencing, mapping out the road, and cutting trenches for the sewer and utilities line, reported JCC Executive Director Drew Staffenberg in a newsletter to JCC members on March 28.

The project is expected to take about 16 months and be completed sometime next May. The campus will include a child care and early education center, health and fitness facilities, a Kosher cafe, private JFCS suites, and offices for the United Jewish Federation and Jewish Community Foundation. It will also include recreation fields and a swimming pool.
