Indian Restaurant Opens in Plainsboro

The Indian Hut at 10 Schalks Crossing Road in Plainsboro is under new management. Owned by Deep Shikha and Mano Ranjan for four months, they can be reached at Your MealOncall.com. Former Plainsboro residents, they moved to Princeton recently. They are both IT consultants. Varun Mohan of Plainsboro is the head waiter.

The head chef, Daljinder Singh, has been a Plainsboro resident for six years. He and his wife, Sukhwinder Kaur, have a son, age 9, and a daughter, age 6. They are both students at Wicoff School.

The restaurant offers a lunch buffet with both vegetarian and meat dishes seven days a week. Take out is available. Delivery is available for $4 within a five-mile radius. BYOB. The menu offers lunch and dinner choices including chicken, goat, lamb, tandoori, biryani, Indo Chinese dishes, and dosas.
