Hobart and William Smith Colleges: Nicholas Cream of West Windsor completed his senior honors project, “On the Road to Genuine Peace: Global Justice, Democracy, and Human Rights,” this fall. He studied with Professor Steven Lee of the philosophy department. Cream studied in Barcelona, Spain, during the spring, 2006 semester.

A history and philosophy major, Cream is a member of Kappa Alpha Society, a member of student activists for Darfur, the club ice hockey team, a senior admissions intern, a worker in the library archives, a volunteer for America Reads, an orientation leader, and common ground mentor. He has been named to the dean’s list, Orange Key, Chimera, and received the Milton Haight Turk Award in the humanities and the History Faculty Award.

“My goal was to try to establish what kind of international structure we would need to pursue in order to best have the opportunity for a sustainable and enduring world peace,” Cream says.

University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business: Gregory Kelley of West Windsor is on the dean’s list for the fall semester. He is a graduate of High School South, Class of 2005.##M:[more]##

Penn State College of Medicine: Brandon Oberweis of West Windsor is enrolled at the school’s Class of 2010. Oberweis, a 2002 graduate of High School North, also holds a bachelor of science degree from Penn State.

Thomas Lee Olson of West Windsor, a 2002 graduate of High School North, graduated in December with a bachelor of science degrees in computer and electrical engineering. In addition to maintaining dean’s list status throughout his college years, Olson played tenor saxophone with a number of university musical groups including the Penn State Blue Band, which recently traveled to the Outback Bowl game in Tampa, Florida in support of the Nittany Lions football team
