Hynes to Retire

The school board accepted the resignation of Town Center Elementary Principal Marilyn Hynes during its meeting on January 22. Hynes has been with the school district for 26 years, and plans on retiring in April.##M:[more]##

Not only has Hynes served as the first principal at Town Center Elementary, which opened in 2002, but she also opened Village School as well. Prior to that, she also served as an assistant principal at Maurice Hawk School for six years, and was a teacher at Maurice Hawk, Dutch Neck, and Community Middle School.
