Brown University: Tamiz R. Ahmed of West Windsor graduated with high honors. A student of West Windsor-Plainsboro schools from kindergarten to eighth grade, he graduated from Lawrenceville School, Class of 2003.

Ahmed, the senior patrol leader of Boy Scout Troop 40, earned the rank of Eagle Scout, and received two Eagle Palms. Co-captain of the cross country, indoor, and outdoor track and field teams at Lawrenceville, he completed the 2006 New York City Marathon in 3 hours and 55 minutes.

Ahmed, who hopes to attend law school in the future, works as a paralegal in a New York City firm.

Denison University: Alexander Chan, a June graduate from High School North and a National Merit finalist, will receive a Paschal Carter Scholarship covering full tuition. He also receives a $3,”000 fellowship, which can be used for research, special academic endeavors, travel abroad, or internships while enrolled at Denison.

NYU Stern School of Business: Amir Kanpurwala of West Windsor is on the dean’s honor role.

Tabor Academy: Danielle Dory of West Windsor is on the honors list.

Union College: Michael H. Epstein of West Windsor graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
