John Nash of West Windsor addressed the graduating class of University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey on May 21 at the Izod Center in the Meadowlands. Nash, who received the 1994 Nobel Prize for economics, received an honorary degree at the event.##M:[more]##
His doctoral dissertation, the Nash Equilibrium, which he wrote in 1950 at the age of 21, used novel mathematical techniques significant to the field of economics. His life was featured in the film “A Beautiful Mind.”
