Nicole Wagenblast, a senior at High School North, was appointed Honey Queen by the New Jersey Beekeepers Association at the annual spring meeting. She began beekeeping at the age of 5 and has been active with the Beekeepers Association.

As Honey Queen she will be an official spokesperson for the state’s beekeepers, and will help educate the public about bees, New Jersey’s state insect.
